The Greatest Port District Team for its first 25 years (1979 - 2003) was selected by a group of experts that had witnessed the previous 25 years of football. The position of captain / Coach was awarded to Steve Curtis who coached the last Division 1 Premiership in 1992.

 In 2004, the Port District Football Club celebrated it's 25 year anniversary. To commemorate this achievement, the club decided to select it's top players over the past quarter of a century. The coach was 1992 A1 Premiership coach Steve Curtis and he was joined by 21 other players who have donned the black and white at Largs Reserve.

Nick Lisk - Played 218 games for Port District Football Club and captained their last Division 1 Premiership Team in 1992. Nick was nominated in the greatest team of the past 25 years.

All Australian 1994 Brenton Owens_250

Brenton Owens - played for Port Adelaide before joining Port Districts in the late 1980's. He played 3 years of State Representative Football including All Australian in 1994. He was nominated in Port Districts greatest team in the past 25 years.
