When someone in the PDFC family is going through a hard time, we pride ourselves on getting behind them and supporting them as much as we can!
That’s why the club has decided to organise a fundraiser for Lee, Laura and the Whitehorn family.
We have decided to to set ourselves the challenge of a 22km run/walk/ride to Henley Square from the club and back. This will be followed by some well deserved recovery drinks, BBQ, raffles and fundraising back at the club afterwards. The plan will be to depart the footy club around 10:30am so please ensure to give yourself enough time pre departure to come down and register your attendance before we head off! (Anytime from 10am)
We encourage all that are able to get involved for as much of the 22km as possible. Lee has been a long and great servant of the club and despite his recent health issues has still poured his heart, soul and precious time in when he can. To join in the walk/run/ride we ask for a $10 minimum donation or more to get the ball rolling on a great fundraiser. (Cash or card will be available)
It will be great to see so many people there to support Lee and Laura in the same way they have supported us all. Everyone is welcome to come down whether you are family, friends, PDFC people past or present.
We would also love any donation small or large via the go fund me page, anything to help the family through this time would be greatly appreciated!
